Founded in 1975 by Maurizio Angelino, a French-speaking
professional, the law firm was first located at the Milan offices of 6 via
Vittor Pisani. Today the law firm mainly provides consultation and litigation
services involving civil and commercial law matters, with particular emphasis
placed on corporate law, real estate issues and labor disputes. The firm is
especially equipped to handle a wide range of legal issues ranging from
institutional to contractual matters, from credit collection to real estate,
including condominium and rental issues. In recent years, the law firm has
become increasingly involved in providing consultation services to clients for
their cross-border transactions. The growth in such transactions due to the
globalization process has caused the law firm to further expand its area of
practice into information technology matters and Internet law, as well as the
structuring of foreign holdings and corporations.
In 1977 the law firm relocated to 26 via Pisacane in Milan
and, under the name of "Studio Professionisti Riuniti", included a tax
lawyer and the President of the milanese real estate superintendants. In 1990
the law firm moved into its prestigious offices at 8 Via Freguglia, opposite the
Milan Court House.
Over the years, the law firm opened up branch offices in Trent
and Monza with addresses in Folgarida and Cusano Milanino. These offices have
since become completely separate and independent.
Today, the law firm is comprised of ten resident lawyers which
have access to a network of over eight hundred correspondent lawyers and law
firms throughout Italy and Europe. Such network is the result of years of close
working relations established with Italian and foreign professionals involved in
similar areas of practice.
Relying on the strength of its network and in answer to the
needs created by the globalization process, the law firm established one of the
first Italian law GEIEs, international in scope and characterized by the
multi-professional nature of a membership comprised of professionals and
businessmen, under the name of "European Service Network".
